Most of our insurance providers do offer cover for lost passports. However, the specifics of what is covered, as well as the coverage limits, can vary and are typically detailed in the baggage cover section of your policy.
There are two key components to the cover for lost passports: the cost of replacement documents and the expenses incurred when travelling to an embassy to obtain these new documents. In some cases, policies may only cover travel and accommodation costs, excluding the cost of the documents themselves.
Be sure to check the policy wording for a full breakdown of what is and isn't covered.
