Before purchasing a policy, it’s important to check that the medical information you’ve provided is complete and accurate.
You can review your medical declaration directly from the Quote Results page:
- Go back to the Medical section of your quote.
- Here, you can review the answers you provided to the medical declaration questions, as well as the medical conditions you have declared for each traveller.
- To check the answers you provided during the medical screening for a particular condition, select “Edit/Add Condition(s)” next to the traveller’s name.
- Find the condition you would like to review and select “Edit”. You’ll then be able to review the answers you provided for that condition and make any necessary changes.
If more than one person is included on the quote, we recommend checking the medical declaration for each traveller to make sure all relevant conditions have been included and the information provided is correct.
You can also check your Demands and Needs document
Once you have selected a policy to purchase, we’ll send you a Demands and Needs document. This will also show the medical conditions you declared when completing your quote.
Please check your medical declaration carefully before purchasing your policy. If any information is incorrect or has changed, make sure this is updated before you buy, as incorrect or missing medical information could affect your cover.
Already purchased your policy?
If you have already purchased your policy, your insurance provider will have sent you your policy documents. These should include details of the medical conditions you declared when purchasing your policy, so we recommend checking these carefully to make sure the information is correct.
If you need to add a medical condition, amend any of the information you provided, or tell your insurer about a change in your health, you will need to contact your insurance provider directly.
Your provider can review the change and let you know whether it affects your policy, cover or premium. Their contact details can be found within your policy documents.
